A Journey By Train Essay : A journey from one place to another some time may be a source of pleasure. Some times it may be the cause of sufferings. But a journey by train that I took few days back gave me much pleasure which I enjoyed to my heart’s content and still I recollect the memories .
Purpose of journey : It was winter. We, some students of our class, were suggested to go out for an educational tour. we decided to go to Chittagong. We took also the decision to go there by train as it was safer and more comfortable.
Journey began : Along with other students we reached Kamalapur station in the morning. Already one of our professors collected some tickets in the first class compartment at 7.00 a.m. We got into our compartment. Really it was very comfortable. It had much space. We took our seats face to face. Each of us also carried a small travel bag. However, at 7.30 a.m. the train With many passengers started off slowly indeed. But within a few minutes it began to run very speedily. It began to run on and on. I looked back but could not catch sight of Kamalapur station. It was far behind.
Scenes and sight : All we were talking about our personal subjects in the compartment. But sometimes I managed to look outside through the window. I was bewildered with the sights on the either sides of the rail path. Different types of trees, plants and groves appeared to me running opposite. Sometimes our train passed through the vast fields. The farmers were seen working in their corn field. The students were seen returning home when the day attained noon. The people were also seen going to their village haat when it was around 3.30 p.m. as we the villagers do. Now it was 4 p.m. Our train halted at Fenny station for ten minutes. Some of us got down from our compartment and looked around to get some meal as we were hungry. Many hawkers with different items of food articles were waiting there. They were making sound to attract us. But we found a small stall and bought some muri and chanacur. I can not forget how tasty they were. We ate together sitting in the running train. Our teacher was along with us. Sometimes he was giving us briefing about the places that were left behind. Sometimes, we are talking about our daily incidents and affairs. When it was 5.30, we were very near to Chittagong city. The hilly areas appeared to me much enchanting. Some parts of it were covered by small plants. Some areas of it were a little higher than others.
Destination : It was 6 p.m. The setting sun was seen with its reddish colour in the West Our train touched at Chittagong train station. We got down from the compartment one by one. I looked around the station. It was crowded. Hundreds of passengers were rushing towards the station. The porters were seen busy porting the luggage and parcel. We did not wait there long. Our teacher hired a taxi cab. We got in it and went to our destination.
Conclusion : Our journey by train, infect, was very pleasing and comfortable. on the way to Chittagong I kept my eyes open to see the sights and unchained my heart to contain them. My train journey was upto my satisfaction. I think the journey like this allures others to take a journey by train.

Essay on A Journey By Train : : It was the month of October. At that time I was in my village to spend the autumn vacations. One of my friends invited me to go his place to stay with him for few days. His name was Karnali. He lived at Kushtia . I accepted his invitation and started for the said place by train from Khulna railway station.
Occasion : I started for the railway station from my native village. I reached the Khulna station at 7.30 in the evening. It was jam packed. Perhaps there was a party meeting in the public square. The people came from various places. Some how I purchased a ticket of Khulna Goalland Male. I had to face some difficulties but I got on board the second class compartment. The station was full of shouts of the coolies. noises of the peddlers and hurry of the passengers. When the train left the station at the whistle of the guard, I was becoming gradually happy. I was alone and thought deeply about any journey. Sitting on the board by the window I really became a philosopher.
Experience : The train was a super express and it was running in full speed. With in short time I reached Jessore Station. The express was running faster. The train was running in the dark atmosphere. I can not express my good feelings by human language. The stars were glittering in the sky. It seemed they are my constant companions. I crossed many stations by the train. When the train halted at Chuadanga station I was met with one of my classmates. He was going to Dhaka. The train stopped at Poradah railway junction for half an hour. With in fifteen minutes I reached Kushtia court station. My friend was waiting for me at the station.. Just for a day my friend and I walked here and there of the town. According to our plan we jointly started to my another friend for Parbatipur. We got into a sccond class compartment making our journey. The compartment was full to its capacity. Our train began to run in full speed and with in an hour we reached the Hardinge Bridge on the Padma. The cracking sound, the length and breath of the bridge and its workmanship all Impressed me very deeply. When we reached the Irshardi Junction we got down for a while to have light refreshment. This junction is one of the biggest junctions in our country. We saw hundreds of railway bogeys and engines. After a little stop over at Irshardi we changed the train and got on board the Parbatipur Rocket. It really moves like a Rocket. We reached home of our friend.
Its charm : All of the journeys railway journey is very charming. This journey was very much interesting to me. I passed rivers, plains bridges, meadows with their natural scenery with my bosom friend Kamal, I had a camera and took few snaps of the railway bridge and the fields. I did it not only for pleasure but also for valuable instruction. We came home by railway journey. My friend Kamal separated from me at Paradah railway junction. I reached Khulna by Parbatipur and Khulna express. The journey from Khulna to Parbatipur via Kushtia including my friend will be rememberd with its charms for long.
Conclusion : The railway Journey reminds me of many things. It gave me much pleasure. I was experienced with gravity of night, loneliness of journey, sweet company of friend, the shades of evening and returning of birds to their nests. In fine, it gives a philosophical out look of life.
